I recorded a movie that TiVo suggested. I think it suggested it because it had Christopher Eccleston in it (briefly, as it turned out, although his name was second in the list of stars). The movie is The Others. We both found it engrossing and disturbing. That's about as scary a movie as I will watch. I know, I can hear honeypot94 laughing from here ( Read more... )

The first time I saw The Private Livse of Elizabeth and Essex, I ran right to Amazon and ordered it:)

I would love to see a boxed set of Errol Flynn swashbuckler movies! The ones they have on Amazon are a mixture of swashbucklers with westerns and war movies.

I agree with you about "The Others." I also think it's a very well written and acted movie. Very well done.

I love "The Others"! As much as I love the blood and gore flicks, a good creepy ghost story will get me every time. And don't worry, I *do* think that one is rather high on the creep factor. You should try "The Changeling" with George C. Scott if you liked that one.

Yep, that book was creepy. When she saw the first few photos, I commented to Eldred that the man looked dead. Then I found out I was correct! Eek!
