Just posting to announce here too - there has been a catastrophic server issue, and no viable copies existing.

There is a DA group created in fb, so if you are there you can join https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=43937450445

I was wondering what happened. :(

Is the facebook group active? I don't have facebook anymore, but will consider going back for some Harry Potter discourse with friends.

MT created the group some years ago during another less serious crash - it never really activated since the trouble was overcome. Megan has made a discussion for Deathly Hallows part two. At present there are nine members, lets see if more join. LJ is not bad but it is more like inviting people over to your house or lending a book - rarely happens with total strangers and does not go on to unexpected directions. Lets see how an fb extension works - I'm no fan of fb, it is just so convenient because it holds so different sets of people with whom I can keep in touch of sorts.

Putting the thing here I was really thinking of you, I'd sorely miss your thoughts from a discussion!

Aww. Thanks! I've been thinking of you too and wondering where you and everyone from DA went. Not many people seem to be posting even here anymore. (Thinking of you because my husband has been talking about moving...as always, and he mentioned Finland. While I laughed at him because my guess is that it's much colder there than it is here and he's from the desert and all, I was secretly hoping that maybe we would at least visit before we decide to make such a big move.)

Ugh, I just had some facebook drama and I really don't like some of their "privacy" issues, so I left. But it is really good for keeping in touch with people. And if people are more active there then here, I might swallow my pride and go back.

Facebook deleted my account, which is awesome. I started a new one under Emmy Elhaik. (I don't want other people to find me.)

Incredible! I thought it was impossible to get out of FB - there is a symbolic thing called fb-seppuku but not even that really wipes you out of it. What did you do to get out ( ... )

ps: Richard invited me to Google+, I can do the same to you, if you like - we could also try and form a "circle" there, in case enough of us join. I understand it is now a kind of beta-trial, therefore the invites. I have not yet sat down to figure how it works and what good it would be - the snag with social networking sites is that they can be wonderful stuff, but if your friends and connections are not in there, they're of no practical use.

Actually, upon reconsideration, I'm not sure if it deleted it. I may have entered in the wrong email address. But I tried another way to retrieve my account, and it couldn't find me. So who knows? I too thought it was hard to delete an account...

I'll suggest to him that he find a conference. Maybe I can come along too!

Thanks for the information. I think that you should wash your face at least 3 to 4 times a day. Youâll be surprised how much better your face will look.
