Ouch! I remember tracing sketches to transfer them. Your patience is commendable. -_-

*smiles* I don't know if it is a matter of patience really though. Because I'm so used to it now. It's simply part of the process.

My only beef with this method is that I might lose the energy or fluidity of the line that was in the sketch. That's why I try my best to keep the first sketch in thumbnail stage and no more than that.

Makes sense! I used to do something similar. Though to be honest, I don't know what I'd be doing now if I hadn't figured out how to get watercolor paper through my printer. Tracing was hard for me, no matter how I did it (carbon, overhead projector, lightbox, etc).

Oh I can definitely see why someone wouldn't want to stick with this method. I think that carbon tracing is the worst method for me. I totally hate it. *laughs* It's annoying that because of the thickness of watercolour paper, I can't use a lightbox. I love that method a whole lot more.

And yeah, printing the lineart is sooooo much easier and faster! I do it depending on what I have to do. But to be totally honest, I never use it for my paintings.... for a dumb reason: I like the texture of ink on paper too beautiful. X3 I use a pen and nib to ink so it kinda gives this sharp and textured line that I really like.

So I guess for all those reasons I still stick with this method. =) Not the best way to go, and probably not the way I would recommand people to do it either. *laughs*

For what it's worth, I didn't notice the problem spots until you pointed them out and I squinted. :)

I LOVE the idea, this is going to be gorgeous finished! :)
