[it resists at first, but opens. It's dark, and there appears to be a stairway of sorts.]

Something about probably being eaten by a grue.

Once you descend to the bottom of the stareway, you're in a long, narrow passageway. The air here feels electrified, and you might feel a little jittery. A few feet ahead, there is a lamp. But the oil is almost gone, and the flame is very dim.]

[ hmm, tearing a bit of his assassin robe and putting that in the lamp to see if it makes the flame stronger ]

[It burns brighter for a few minutes, though the shred is burning faster than the wick.]

[ well, let's go down this tunnel, continually tearing bits of his robe to keep the flame alive ]

[the tunnel is long, but there appears to be another staircase ahead]

[ let's go up that sucker before I end up nude ]

[When you go up the stairs, there is another trap door blocking the way. It also opens easily enough. But the room in front of you is a plain white room.

There are two doors on opposite sides of the room to choose from.

On the ground, embellished there are the words:

"Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
We work in the dark to serve the light."

That is the only distinguishing feature of the room.]
