Same picture set turned out really amazing! It's not so obvious that it's the same picture - I really like #3 and 4 ^^. And I loove blue, dorky, faceless and sitting =).
i especially like this set because aside from the colouring and the cropping, you went out on a limb to add something likr lots of boxes and lots of textures and lots of text to make the icons eye-catchy
blue, dorky, nature, category #3 and ac #4 were my favourites. Hair is a really good crop and great interpretation of the theme, but i the text doesn't do much for the icon, IMHO. i love how the texture is placed and masked. but "courage" seems incongrous with what's IN the icon
faceless has very interesting composition, especially the lower half :)
like amaranthine3 already mentioned, the category icons are expecially wow becuase it's hard to spot at first glance that it's the same picture, especially how you worked in #3 ... kudos! :D
haha - I get what you're saying about the hair one. I struggled with what text to use. "Hair" or "style" seemed too obvious, so I was thinking maybe courage as in courage to wear a weird hair style - but I was a little unsure of whether it really fit or not.
I'm glad to hear you liked the category ones too - I loved how their feet perfectly express their personalities. Jasper's are all business, but Alice's are fun and flirty ^_^
now i get why you thought of "courage" and yep, it's a cool idea, but it's also pretty obscure for this one ... relatively. "Hair" and "Style" while 100% appropriate would ALSO be so yeah-duh-we-see-it-big-deal, lol ... uhm, Look At Me? We Match? Ditto? ... (okay, SERIOUSLY getting weirder)
i know! i love how the shoes make it work! and especially how Alice is wearing ballerinas (like that classic Bella line: "with grace that would break a ballerina's heart) and Jasper's chucks are just in between serious-kid and cool-new-guy, imho! ;)
(much as i love Bella, i could see her wearing gumboots!)
