"Redux"? "Reawakened"? Huh?

Thanks to everyone's input following my last post, I've invested a couple of hours today exploring both MediaMiner.org and AdultFanFiction.net as possible homes for my new stories ( Read more... )

ken's quandary, family, realizations arc, mm.org, karmic backlash, painful lessons

Either 1 or 2 would be a fine moniker. After my MM account was hacked a few years back, I simply with "Rubious2", but E-sama 2 doesn't sound good.

(off to have ban and ginji search for the proverbial lost shaker of salt.)

Heheheh! Yeah, seeing it online is just like hearing you say it aloud over the phone, bro. The "E-sama 2" sounds like a boat... one designed for crash-landing straight onto a deserted island, no less! ^_^

I'm with you, I like Esama the Llama: Redux. Because it's not really that you've reawakened simply been able to return for which I'm eternally grateful. Of course to me and my anime boys you'll alwasy be "Da Llama!" ~many salaams follow~ .

Okay you did way more research on AFF than I did. That is totally rediculous all the warnings and of course not ensuring that you use them all is an easy loophole to have your work removed. I'm with you if MM looks good then that is where you should go back to. I've got the link and will happily update as soon as I know what the new url will be.

I'm sorry the reunion has been more stress for you than enjoyment. I understand though. I deal with it often here because all of my immediate family lives within 5 miles. Barely organized chaos barely cuts it. I am glad that the visit from Amanda went well even if it wasn't long enough.

Last item first: Wow, Cat, all of your immediate family are THAT close together? Ouch. I can well imagine that chaos would indeed ensue based on that.

Thanks for both the name support and the comments regarding AFF. I tend to over research each and everything I might lend my name and my time to, so it seemed worth the effort to find out all that I could.

Ayep, my sister, her husband and their two kids live about 2 miles to the southeast of us. My brother and his wife and my ll month old neice live about 4 miles to the northwest of us. Invariably they all converge here and mom and I do all the cooking and clean up. -_-;;

I emailed Romantic Resolutions and the list to you. Let me know if there are anymore there that you need. And did I give you the link I have for you media miner page or do you even need it?

Belated thanks for the email which I'm just about to go and retrieve. While Melpomene was being so cooperative yesterday, I focused on that and am just now getting caught up on other things.

That said, let me finish out this thread just by thanking you again publicly for the assistance. I truly thought "Romantic Resolutions" was lost forever for awhile there. {massive huggles of gratitude}

I agree! I voted for the first choice! It sounds cool too. ^_^
err, That's a bit much just to read AND post fiction on AFF. I understand the need for caution but that is a bit extreme. I say if MM sounds good to you then stick with it...at least for now. good luck! :D

Your vote helps a lot! e_sama August 6 2007, 03:46:19 UTC
Thanks for the vote, darling friend!

I'm really starting to dig the "Redux" thing myself and feel it's something worth getting behind. I also appreciate your comments on AFF's rather extreme views on warnings. Granted, it makes my decision making process a tad bit easier, but still it seems like it would deter folks from posting there.

*HUGS* Nothing can drive you batty like family. I do understand and sympathize. The light at the end of the tunnel better not be an oncoming train, or Murphy will need to find a REALLY good hiding place. *aims glare at Murphy*

{the llama huggles his darling friend in return and considers putting Murphy on the Weiss list of targets in the current arc then decides that just might be pushing his luck and backs off carefully}

Yeah, see, moving halfway 'cross the country and finding many reasons not to go visiting, that's my way of dealing with family. Love 'em to pieces, but really don't have much interest in physicial colocation. And I don't even have nearly so big a bunch as yours. Here's soothing quiet and juicy citrus wishes for you - all neatly labeled, of course ;D

You're smart to put a little distance between yourself and the relatives. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

{accepts the citrus wishes and smiles gratefully for your vote on the poll}
