Last night was the first night of Rainmaker auditions. As I said elsewhere, no one really blew me away, but there were a few new people that I'm glad I had a chance to see

Agreed, but I think I'd be inclined to have weather as a mitigating factor.

I mean, if I'm auditioning for a dramatisation of "Call of the Wild" in Honolulu in August...

Hmm, I tend to dress more for the audition than the part. plain and comfortable pants, shirt and shoes, so that I can move if requested. sometimes, if I am really jonesing for a particular role, I may try to evoke the character with my outfit, but that's really more for callbacks, for me.
