Oh, thanks for the photos. I rode that train from Fairbanks to Anchorage and back again a week later, to go to camp when I was 11. My best friend lived in Nenana and she got on there and rode with me. That train ride was the best part of the whole week.
I love riding the train. I only did two round-trips - one to Denali, one to Anchorage - but it was so very pretty, and you didn't have to deal with the road!
