I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'm very fond of Mary Beard and have a couple of her books. I would very much like to see the whole series, which I suspect will eventually end up on Youtube.

Every time you make one of these posts, I lose, like, an hour or more reading through the links. I love it.

The story of the Civil War photograph and its follow-up is especially good, and fascinated me both as a history enthusiast and as an amateur genealogist. Wonderful stuff!

And that piece about the Samaritans? Awesome.

OK, really, I need to stop and get in the shower now....

I thought both of those might pique your interest. :) I admit, reading the piece on the Samaritans was a huge reminder to me -- Oh yea, the Samaritans! How little mention they get these days. And the work on that photo was amazing from all sorts of standpoints indeed.
