boodzoo, you sweetie!! Thank you for the WONDERFUL mail - it totally made my day! I'm so thrilled to have some of your artwork! And the next time I make lasagna, I'll be thinking of you. ;) ♥

Here's the collage I made yesterday. I'm not super comfortable with such dark palettes... but I like how it turned out.

you know, it's cool... it looks like a very aged photo. i like the spots on it. is that the wax?

i've been playing with beeswax lately... i like it!

Thanks, it was an effort to get it to look so old, lol. The spots are acrylic and between some of the layers. The entire surface is coated in thin layers of wax... in doesn't show in the photo, though.

Care to share any of your wax creations? :)

hmmmm... i am almost finished with a dress that i coated in wax. when it's complete, i'll post it.

and you did an awesome job making it look so old. i'm impressed.

I love your collage - it brings to mind those cyanotopes (not sure I'm spelling that correctly). Really really nice! It is so exciting to see your style evolve and see you try new things - yay!

Thank you! I feel like I'm in some sort of growing phase at the moment. I was counting the other day, and I think this is the 10th wax collage! Weird. I'm still not sure what I'm doing, lol.

Oh, I LOVE the package! Your atcs are fabulous - I have them propped on my desk where I can see them and will frame them when I get a chance.
