Jul 21, 2011 11:09

During the night, my kitten Nala was run over (or she fell from a tree, we don't know precisely how it happened)... we brought her to the 24/7 animal clinic were she was diagnosed with a severe traumatic diaphragmatic hernia after the doctors saw her X-ray.

Later this afternoon, as soon as she is stable, she's having surgery but we don't know if she ( Read more... )

*hugs back* Thanks, we hope so too!

(edit)

I've just come back from the clinic, luckily she made it through the surgery (this was the main concern of the surgeon). Now she has to go through the post-op phase but the surgeon vet was more optimistic about that part so I feel a little more relieved :)

Thank you so much dear, I really appreciate it *hugs* I'm leaving in half an hour, my sister is at her third year of vet university and she asked if she could scrub in. So I'm gonna drop her off at the clinic, stay in the waiting room in the meanwhile and pray.

I hope there's good news for you -x- I can imagine that'll be an unpleasant wait. Hang in there.

The wait was unnerving but, luckily, there was good news at the end :) I've just come back from the clinic, Nala made it through the surgery (this was the main concern of the surgeon). Thanks so much once again for the support, I'm sure she felt all the positive thinking while they operated her *hugs*

We are so sorry to hear about this :( my sis and I will send our good thoughts to Nala (she is a strong girl), you'll see that all will be okay in the surgery.

A big kiss to her and *hugs* to you ♥

*hugs you back*

And it is very good that your sis can scrub in. That will certainly be a plus because Nala will feel all the love that you and your family have for her from having your sister in the operating room. Please do keep us posted about how that goes and we will have her on our thoughts today ♥
