Oh, I know it's a skill I'd do well to have, but it's not my thing...

The double-blue got off to a good start. Let's see if it's maintained. I like Clemons (who doesn't?) and he deserves to have a great season, at some point.

Remember the league motto: "Our balls are bigger".

Wasn't that from the American expansion years? Those are some times everyone wants to forget...

It's still a damn good motto!

Are you kidding? I think the CFL is a much better league than the NFL. The CFL plays more like our college football, which I love. I'm sick and tired of the National Fieldgoal League, it bores me to tears.

I'm counting the days until NCAA Football begins though...that's good stuff right there. :)

Why is the NFL so popular? Is it just the gambling that makes it so?

And yeah, the CFL has tons of offense. It's great. And so wide-open. You'll never see anyone like Tom Brady or Trent Dilfer win it all up here. You need a QB who can run and take advantage of the wide field. We've had guys like Michael Vick up here for a decade now. You folks are just catching on. ;)

I honestly don't know...I mean, people seem to LOOOOVE the NFL, but have you seen a game within the last few years? It bores the shit out of me. I used to love watching the SuperBowl, but now it's just all about the commercials and the office pools.

You're right though, we don't get much CFL on TV...but when we do, man oh man! I love the big plays, 40-yard catches, 40-yard runs. That sort of thing is why I love college ball. It really is wiiiiide open, and thats how football should be.

Now, can we just convince our networks to show it? =)

Maybe the reason that people love the NFL has to do with the fact that there are, like, 6 or 7 games on at once, and there are constant cut-ins for highlights from elsewhere. So, all in all, it ends up looking like a highlight reel.
