It started tonight - I didn't see it coming. Hiedi called me before the end of the day to say Lauren and Joseph were inviting us to a feast at their place tonight. I've had ground moose meat before, but that I was the first time I'd had just, like, a hunk cut right off.

All very good. The elk was my favourite.

Where did they get that? Local butcher, hunted it themselves? How cool!

The guy who brought it all was First Nations. The moose he'd hunted himself. Not sure about the rest, but I assume he got it from people he knows. :)
