Robert F. Kennedy Jr. compares the state the media and political discourse in Canada and the US and it is hilaaaaaariously wrong on so many levels. Here's just one nugget:

Political dialogue in Canada is marked by civility, modesty, honesty, collegiality, and idealism that have pretty much disappeared on the U.S. airwaves.

I'm curious to hear your perspective on Americans fleeing to Canada when Republicans take over. The other Canadians - both former Americans and otherwise - who I know are all in favor of it, but they're all city dwellers, and when I ask them about Harper still being in power they just kind of mumble angrily. (Also, they never just want me to move to Canada; they want me to move to where they live.)
