I'm going to go ahead and guess that the reason Merkerson barely received any acclaim is because she's not considered physically attractive by Hollywood standards. Looking hot is ranked far above acting skills.

That seems like a pretty fair bet. Did you watch this past season? They got into her personal life in a way that was probably unprecedented for L&O, but they pulled it off really well. The scenes of her home life with her new boyfriend were touching and quite well done.

I stopped watching after Jerry Orbach. He was my favourite thing about the show. I was finding the episodes a little boring and predictable so I stopped watching.

I absolutely refuse to read posts with memes in them. Once in awhile I'll read one, but it better be reaaaalllyyyyyy short. Even then, if I'm reading it, it's most likely only because I didn't realize it was a meme in the first place. :P

i LOVE community and modern family.. although thursdays lineup of community - parks and rec - the office is like, my favorite ever. adam and i really love watching tv together, sometimes i wish we had a sport or activity that we loved to do as much, but tv trumps all for us..

Parks & Rec isn't coming back in the fall! It's kind of upsetting! Instead they're replacing it with that "Outsourced" show (because Americans really want to watch a show about people in India who have the jobs they used to work?), and then P&R is coming back in January or something.

I definitely did see that episode! What joke are you referring to, though? Like, the joke that was the entire episode?

Indeed. I should have probably said, "She was the only one who got the joke!" It was embarassing to watch ... and, yet, I couldn't look away.
