Thank you, thank you, thank you Jim Caple! Thank you for being an American who acknowledges that being an Expos fan is much, much more difficult than being a Cubs or Red Sox fan.

When I click on the link, I get an article called "The Misery Ratings Index". It's really strange that you don't...

I get "Bonds deserves our applause." I'd link it to you, but I guess that would be linking the link you already have... this is strange.

In baseball, someone just replied to my post. It seems like everything's in order for them...

I dunno what this could be.

Amen. You have it rough up there, I certainly must agree with that!

Being a Dodger fan is okay. Despite the fact that we've got the worst new owner in baseball, and that we haven't won a postseason game since I was in elementary school, at least our stadium is nice and almost full for every game. I will take heart in that. :)

People who get to cheer on teams among 50,000 other fans of the same team are fortunate, though they probably don't often see it that way.

You've got Kirk Gibson to hang onto, which is a helluva lot better than having the carpet pulled out from under you in 1994 like us.

(Plus, you're an Angels fan too, right? There's your bright spot.)

Yeah, the Kirk Gibson moment is (in my opinion) one of the top ones in sports history. Such an against-all-odds deal, from which Oakland never recovered. I will definitely hang on to that one!

You're right...I'd forgotten all about 1994! Didn't you guys have either the best or second-best record in ALL of baseball that year? That is just wrong.

Yup. Best record in baseball in 1994. Watching Felipe Alou manage the NL side in the All-Star Game the next season didn't quite make up for the lost World Series.

This has nothing to do with baseball, but guess what I have? Season 2 and 3 of Six Feet Under. Allison's brother lent it to me. Man, if you liked the first season, wait til you see the second! It gets way crazier! You gotsta get that channel!
