Well, now I hope - hope - that that's all done with.

Those 70+comments the other day were really interesting. And they served as a bit of an ego-boost, even if it was just the same people over and over, and they weren't talking about me, or lavishing attention on me. Lavishing attention on me!

I notice where the Gazette today has three women to ( Read more... )

You're interesting 'cause you don't post much (at least by most lj'er's standards) and you don't let everyone know ALL about you, just a bit of how you see things.

I was always interested why your username is "dzuunmod"...

The name's dzuunmod because a number of years ago, I started posting on a certain sex-education Web site's boards, and I didn't want my friends to ever, ever know who it was. So, I picked up the atlas next to me, and randomly picked a place name. Dzuunmod is a town just outside of the Mongolian capital, Ulan Bator.

I'm surprised you think I'm kind of quiet, or closed on LJ. I don't think of myself that way. It's interesting to find out what y'all think of me, though.

Well I think you're quiet based on how much you post... then again I (and many people on my friends list) post quite often.

Did you know that my girlfriend seeks a career in sexual health education? If not, now you do...

That is a fact of which I was unaware.

I tend to post in bursts - 3 on one day and then none for a half-week or so.

...I find that those elliptical training machines, if you can get access to them, are awesome. they both offer resisitance and are way easy on your joints (if you're like me, with bad knees).

Is this like an infomercial kind of thing? I'm not sure of what you speak...

no, not at all--they're in pretty much every gym I've been into (US), and the ones I use are made by...jeez, I should know this considering the amount of time I've spent on them...I think LifeStride. they're large, they have two pedals and it's sort of like cycling standing up (sometimes they have handles that move, sometimes not). the resistance adjusts so it's like going up and down hills. you sort of glide on them, so there's less stress on joints, and you can pedal/run/whatever backwards, too, which I like a lot.

now I sound like an infomercial, but these things have definitely saved my knees. I can't run on a treadmill or outside for very long ('cause of the knees), but I can do however much cardio I can stand on the elliptical.

Well, I walk a lot in the winter, which I guess will have to do, because as it stands, I just don't have the cash to join a gym. There aren't really any close by, anyway.
