Meh. I'm sure they'll weasel a way out of it somehow. There's nine hours left to go, which means at least two now-that-this-crisis-is-resolved-turns-out-there's-bigger-evil-we-didn't-know-about-and-this-was-all-part-of-a-huge-master-plan-that's-still-going-ons left.

Also, why not just call in an anonymous bomb threat at the port? That would have gotten the cops there mighty quick and Bauer could stay on the loose.

The cellphones were blocked and the landlines were cut. Jeez, weren't you paying attention?

I'm sure he's fine. I'm thinking the broken pipe was just coolant to keep the payload secure or something like that.

That aside, it has been one of the better seasons so far and the writers seemed to have planned it out better than last season.

You're probably right on the first count, and definitely right on the second. I read at the beginning of the season that this time the writers were mapping the whole thing out in advance, as opposed to the last few which were done on the fly.

Why, I do not know.

I think the only way the series can end is with his death. How else can they possibly do it?

it's not the last season, is it?

If it is, they haven't said so.
