What're some magazines you all enjoy that put up interesting, full-text articles on the Web? I'd like to find some new reads. In the past, I've read the Economist, Mother Jones, The Nation and This Magazine, among others and my favourite magazine has for years been (and still is) The New York Times Magazine ( Read more... )

On my friend's page, your post is right below Wendy's post about the Canadian guy being sentenced to beheading in Saudi Arabia. I wonder why the 3 star resort story won out over the beheading story? Maybe it was a time thing...

Yeah, I didn't even think of that. Or maybe it was that the beheading story broke sometime after 6pm.

In any case, there really had to have been more interesting/important news somewhere in the city yesterday. If a lousy vacation is all you can come up with to lead a newscast, it's probably time to pack it in.

what kind of e-stalker do you think i am? of course i've seen this already :p... it's the one indication i have of his age, which i think tells me he's around 40? you should have seen friday's news at six... godbout went all sarcastic homo bitch on pj stock after stock forcefully interrupted him (ADHD style) requesting that they start the segment with happy leap-year wishes... i'm now convinced that godbout is at least homocurious...

the walrus is pretty solid. & the student subscrption is a pretty good deal. haven't picked up maisonneuve.

lately i'm more into podcasts tho.
