I thought I heard thunder! But my friend was like, "It's just a snow plow."

It didn't really sound like thunder (more like a muffled rumble), but it followed a flash of light.

Weird.

Toronto looks pretty much the same today. The storm this morning was cool to watch. Unfortunately we had plans today which we had to cancel.

Dude, there are still leaves on the trees outside my window right now. I haven't even seen frost yet this year.

It is indeed. The back of my building looks out onto a neighbourhood that's so suburban-looking...

yeah that lightening was great! it's hard to tell in the winter if it's thunder or a transformer exploding because lightening during snowstorms is quite rare, but i believe that was thunder... well... maybe an exploding transformer is equally as rare...

i witnessed a thunderstorm during a snow storm back in the 90s in nova scotia... it was a late night blizzard with low visibility, and flashing blue lightening throughout the sky and blowing snow... it was surreal.

A transformer blowing would be a much more concentrated bang and flash though, wouldn't it?
