This line, from a BBC article about the whole Baldwin/Basinger mess, reads like it came out of an Onion article. It's not pleasant subject matter, but that line out of context did put a smile on my face. I think I have more to say about the whole thing, but my thoughts ( Read more... )

I'll definitely look into toys and miniatures, but generally I think I'd rather go after old signage and maps. When I visited NYC in December, one of the places I was most eager to visit was the MTA shop in Grand Central Station, and if I was a rich man, I would've bought one of almost everything. :p

Yeah, the money thing is a drag.

Of course, I suppose I could get around the need for cash in my pursuit by simply stealing things from various transit authorities, haha.
