Argh. First, the electricity went out. Three times in a week.

Today, there is no heat. The radiators right now are stone cold, just as they were when I awoke this morning. Fuck, it's cold.

Thanks, hun. Apparently the electricity and the heat (which, in theory, is gas) are related.

Sheesh - if it's not one thing, it's another. :/

According to the regie du logement (this has happened to me before) they have 24 hours to get the heat on again. If they do not (and you have to tell them so) then you can rent a space heater (oil ones do exist) and the regie will make sure you get repaid every cent by the landlord. I know it helped me to know I didn't have to live like that for long. And as a side note proper heating to the regie means the temperature does not drop below 21 degrees Celsius in your apartment. I hope that helps ease your mind a little.

I spoke with Hydro this afternoon and they say everything should be back to normal right now. My fingers are crossed!
