Me, I'd go buy a new Cd to listen to while I worked out. Having both the energy and time to work out at the same time is rare enough for me, I'd take advantage of it while I could. :)

I think I'll work out at some point. I'm gonna hold off on the new CDs though, and try to enjoy the ones I got last week fully before I move on...

I say work out. Working out makes it easier to work your mojo.

Not a bad idea.

I can't decide whether you're a good or bad influence on me like this. :p

How do you feel about the new season of 24?

Personally, I'm not a fan yet... too many older characters are missing and too many of the ones piss me off!

Well, I got on board pretty late (I only started watching at the beginning of season 3) so I don't really miss the old characters.

I was a bit attached to Chloe, so I hope that we haven't seen the end of her... Driscoll's character isn't believable to me. I was on the 24 Web site (big nerd, I know) and I noticed that on her CV, her only education is a BA from Bryn Mawr College. I just can't buy that someone with so little training in the field could get to that position.

re: Driscoll - Oh I know! I *hate* her!

Chloe I disliked a lot last season, but now she was like all we had left!

Is 24 really racist as VH1's Best Week Ever suggests? I love Shohreh Aghdashloo and Aisha Tyler.

So far this season, I'd have to say that it is. However, I understand that of the four seasons, this is the only one in which the bad guys have been Middle Eastern (which as Hollywood goes, is a pretty good record).

Also, Shohreh Aghdashloo was interviewed in the New York Times yesterday (free registration required), and she says that if people think the show is racist, they should watch until the end of the season and then speak out.

There are always double views on it. Like on the surface it looks very racist (very), but in the end it closes in. The other seasons were pretty much like that, so I expect this one will be too.

I say hell with working out, just do some cookin'!

That's what I'm doing, gettin' my marinade all ready for some steak and potatoes. Classic American fare, I guess.

Pretty soon I ought be able to make this for both me and amiga500, that'll make life much easier.

I did try and watch "24" a while ago, but I think since I caught it when the season was half-over, I was just too late to the game. Couldn't figure out what the hell was going on, other than that the protaganist was running around like a madman. :)
