People can be so fuckin creepy. Ugh. So earlier I got a facebook message from some random woman:

hey ebony u dont no me but i just got threw watch a film i think u were in it if im not sure i just wanted too say hi and add u as a friend how r u doing now

Wow, facebook brings out the crazy boldness in people.

Does it not? Though I think there's something about the girls and their stories that also brings out the boldness and arrogance of folks. I'm not quite sure what it is though.

I think it has value,too. I do hope that's clear. It's just problematic in all the same ways GEMS itself is.

Okay, so judging by the person's grammar, I'm guessing that they are young and just didn't totally think through the ramifications of trying to establish a relationship with someone they saw on a documentary of that subject. I'll also go out on a limb to hypothesize that the person may have also had experiences to which she felt she could relate?

I dunno, I just like to figure out what makes people do things sometimes...

I thought that initially at first, but then saw she's married with a child. Not that she couldn't still be relatively young, but I'm just not thinking that's it. If anything, I think the grammar is due to a language barrier issue ( ... )
