"Now normally I wouldn't do this..."

I've never seen one of these specific to Harlem before, so eh...

You Know you from HARLEM if you...

1) Know about the Rucker/Kingdome
2) A white tee, jeans, and AF1s or MJs is your usual outfit [not me, but I know a lot of fools who do]
3) Like the OLD MA$E
4) Wish that MA$E would have never got back on [I wish he'd've never got a deal at all]

I hope noone does this for Seattle. All the shit that would identify someone as "Seattle" is horribly kitschy and completely scene-kid level retarded.

Why the fuck do I live here again?

-You refused to date someone from BK or Queens because they lived "too far."

how bout if someone from bk/queens was reluctant to date YOU cuz you lived too far...

-You used to randomly yell out "Aaaaaaa-yoo" to see who would say "aight" back.

Ha. Yep. I can't tell you how many relationships I knew that failed because of cross-borough issues.

I'm trying to move closer to Harlem after I get out of this current situation.

I really don't get the distance thing. For it to be so many people here, ya'll really don't like to go too far from home, lol.

And cuz you know I gotta rob yo' post and talk about the D for a min, lol:

24) Own every pair of J's

That applies to Detroit as well... or probably any predominantly black area for that matter.

I think it comes from the general fast pace the city has. Plus we're used to most things being at our fingertips. Lots of stores are within a few blocks. Your friends live in your building or down the block. Your family is usually not much farther than one train stop away. Any commute longer than an hour feels like it's not really worth the time and effort. Plus the MTA is pain in the ass. Unreliable, erratic... From Harlem to anywhere in BK is at least an hour. From Harlem to anywhere in Queens is at least an hour an a half. That back and forth time adds up!! lol You gotta be a helluva man for me to sacrifice 3 hours of a day of my life for you regularly. lol

Yeah, I can see the thing about accessibility. In Detroit, you gotta drive 30 minutes one way just to go grocery shopping. So a 40 minute one way commute isn't as serious to us.

But man, ya'll don't know how good ya'll got it with this transportation thing! Detroiters would kill for a bus system half as reliable as the MTA...

I have a freestyle battle with Ma$e vs jadakiss. Until that track, I had no damn idea Ma$e could spit like that. I should send it to you.
