When I said it was being presented as a competition, I meant a competition between blacks vs poor, who does Bush REALLY hate or hate more. Especially when the two groups overlap so much.

no, he doesn't like poor folks either but to ignore the instrinsic role race plays in poverty is stupid and just plain WRONG. you cannot separate the two. even stevie wonder can see the two are connected. it is not a damn coincidence almost all the poor hurricane victims were black. poverty is racialized. people need to stop acting so brand new.
