I just revisited elementary school. I was on the train and a man was standing-- more like hovering above where I was seated. He was reading a paper and I'll be damned if that thing wasn't centimeters away from my face. Have you ever been in a situation like that? No one is touching you or (verbally) threatening you, but they are carrying themselves ( Read more... )

All sorts of thoughts of skinning this man's penis flooded my mind.

OUCH! I just imagined a sausage being skinned. LOL!

and I have been in that position on the bus. Like, do you not see me right here? You hit me and it's on. I also hate when I have a penis in my face. Get that thing away from me. I also hate people who won't continue to the fuckin' back on a crowded ass bus. I stay about to cuss out somebody cuz they are in the way and see I'm trying to pass but you stand there like I can walk thru your ass.

lol. Either that, or the instigator would straight push one kid into the second.

Crash was seriously the most over rated movie this year. It was so hyped up by folks that some were calling it the best movie ever and blah blah. After I finished watching it I was like, "okay?"

To me it was like Final Destination, but with racism as its theme.

I honestly believe this movie was made for all the ignorant white people who believe that racism doesnt exist anymore. They prolly like, "OMG I cant believe that just happened!!"

That's kinda how I felt, like "maybe I'm just not seeing the hype because it's not telling me anything I didn't know." Did this actually shock people??? I think perhaps Ryan Phillipe's character might have really shook people. The fact that he was seen as Captain Save-A-Negro in the beginning then he... did what he did.

exactly.

The thing that doesnt seem to get resolved is when the asian slaves are freed. We all know that later another slave labor guy is going to spot them and force them to work for him. So him letting them go in the middle of chinatown didnt resolve anything at all.

Living in this overcrowded city, I sadly know exactly what you're talking about including the crazy reaction plotting.

I saw Crash on Tuesday night. I liked it. I didn't think it was the greatest film ever, but it was very provocative and didn't do anything stupid enough to take me out of the film. My boyfriend was a little too affected for my tastes. If it can affect someone that much, the film definitely does not suck.
