I've been having a problem lately with weird "jokes." I can only think of one at the moment (be quiet, Mikey). I was in iSketch and some woman entered the room after watching a few people draw she says something like "You guys draw so well. You're gonna hate me." To which some guy replied, "Not as much as I already hate you just for being a woman

i was on the bus the other day and these two little old (but not that old) white men were sitting a row or two behind me. they were engaged in a soft, intimate conversation, but i was still able to decipher their whispers. one said to the other "if you want a nice neighborhood, you can't have any of that hip hop crap going around". the other guy started laughing like really hard and i kept thinking that i missed the joke. then that same not funny guy was trying to get the laugh a lot guy to go to this one particular state/county appointed shrink so that she could declare him crazy. he ended by saying that that is how he and all of his friends are being given govt checks for disability, and then he pulled out a paper and showed the guy that he is a certified nut. for a quick second i thought these motherfuckers are working the system, but then i thought hmm..maybe they just really are fucking crazy!

i don't know what the point of this story is, but thanks for listening. haha!

ahhh jokes. I dont know what offends people anymore. So i try not to tiptoe and do exactly like ive been doing for the last 30someting years and just be myself. Im bound to offend someone but ya know ;)

Well the joke didn't offend me as much as it confused me. lol I honestly saw no humor in it at all. I didn't get it. So it just seemed like he went out of his way to be offensive then pull back with the "j/k" which made it even weirder. lol Even he said it was a bad attempt to be funny.

I think we all do that every once in awhile...I mean, back off when we've told a joke that has fallen flat or offended the person we've told it to. And that's good too cuz it makes us think "Wow, what was so bad about it?"...I mean, if that person knows how to reflect lololol

So I took a step back and after reading something somewhere else ::ahem::, I wanted to come back to this comment and thank you for checking me. lol I don't wanna go to that place where only my view counts and I automatically discredit people.
