I don't know about this Chane fellow. I just don't know. See, I'm an attention whore. I NEEEED attention. No, not want, NEEEEEEEEEED it. And he's not giving enough. I hate to sound self-centered, but I gotta be truthful. I can't stand it. He's amazing. Like the one you go and tell you friends "giiiiirl, I've got a good one!" lol But.... not enough ( Read more... )

i can sooo relate to the chane dilemma. i was going through the same thing just a few weeks ago with grimm. things have improved and it was only when i sat him down and just decided to stop being so damn passive about everything. there are things i require. haha! i don't know why it took me so long to tell him what it was that i wanted/needed from him. nowadays, we're making time out in the evening to sit down and talk to each other. it feels nice to be able to sit down and have dialogue. not just one person talking and the other one pretending to be listening. we are trying to create certain routines to keep us in the habit of keeping the lines open. but don't stress it. i kept anticipating the day that he and i would sit down and have this talk and i drove myself nuts, and just when i stopped worrying about it so much, he said something that led me right to the conversation i'd been meaning to have with him for weeks. :)

"we are trying to create certain routines to keep us in the habit of keeping the lines open."

That is EXACTLY what I think we need. Certain rituals or routines to keep our lines of communication open steadily. So that I don't start tripping up here worrying he's not really as interested as he claims he is.

You know I'm happy to hear that. *hugz* And thanks for the words of confidence. I needed to see that it was possible to come back from the incommunicado doldrums. lol

incommunicado

that was the word of the day yesterday...or was it the day before. uhh...i don't remember, but i get an email everyday from merriam-webster of a different word, and that was the words just like yesterday or the day before. are you a fellow vocab-builder? hahaha :) (hey, you stop that laughing, i was spelling bee champ until the 10th grade, and then i was robbed by some chick whose name i can't remember right now, but i hated her...)

So that I don't start tripping up here worrying he's not really as interested as he claims he is.communication is so underrated and people have different definitions, not to mention methods, of commuincating. grimm likes to do stuff for me to show me how much he cares, and that's great, but you need to back that up with verbally expressing your intention to me. hell, i'm not a mind reader. yeah, it was a nice gesture, but if you would come out and explain to me why you did what you did for me, then i can appreciate the effort you put forth that much more. does that make any sense ( ... )

"incommunicado

that was the word of the day yesterday..."

In all seriousness, I didn't even know it was a real word. LOL I thought it was a fake Spanish word. lol

"that's the way love goes. "

Unfortunately. I almost wish relationships didn't require work. But then I'm sure we'd take advantage of the good times and not see them for just how good they really are.

Plus my school's bookstore just so happened to have moved temporarily and they don't have the buyback system up yet
aint that shit a lil too convenient???? I have ALWAYS had a problem with every college bookstore. That's why I buy my school books off the net: it's usually an older edition, but always has the same shit in them, and for at least 70% less than the bookstore. Try amazon.com. Then I always give it to someone who is taking the class the next semester.

"aint that shit a lil too convenient????"

I was kinda thinking that at first, but then I realized that the buyback's busiest time is RIGHT towards the end of classes. Like around mid to late May. And the bookstore just relocated like 2 days before I tried to sell them. I shoulda went on the day I first intended, but I was too lazy. It's karma biting me on my lethargic ass.

Thanx Tara!!! I'll try that.
