In any case, it's back to Marvel for me today. I'm cheating a little bit and polishing up a fic that I'd started a while ago, but there is new content and in my opinion

Terry doesn't like the implications that the title of 'wife' would mean for her and neither of them know where they'd wear the rings (and they'd have to have rings, because if they do a thing, they're going to do it right), what with Deadpool's tendency towards losing fingers and Terry's dislike of hair-entangling necklaces.

That was such a nice little touch, I think.

Also, YAY! I'm happy you picked this up again! :DDDD I've been waiting to see what you were going to do with it! The end bit with Terry and Monet was great too; excellent characterization for them both. :)

*g* Well, really, I couldn't imagine things happening any other way. And Wade's actually lost fingers in canon, so the issue had to be brought up XD

I couldn't help but put Monet in, because Siryn's ties with X-Factor had to be healed up and I also wouldn't feel right just abandoning Jamie to unspecified emoness.

Wow, I do love it when people comment on old fic. It reminds me of all the other old fic I never wrote because of distractions by shiny new fandoms...

That said, Deadpool/Siryn has a certan charm to it that I really do enjoy. The problem, of course, is that current canon is so disgusting that I can barely touch Marvel anymore... although I might try now that you've given me a bit of a push.

In the meanwhile, I know that there's a dearth of Deadpool/Siryn in fandom (it kills me, it really does), so if you'd like some fic recs, I'd be happy to point you along as apology?

Thank you for responding so quickly! Yours is the only other fanfiction about those two I've found.

Anything you could point me too would make me joygasm. I just started writing some stuff involving those two. I figure now would be the perfect time for Terry to look Deadpool up again since Jamie is such a prick. It is really hard to write Siryn since so many writers had her make so many stupid/bitchy decisions.

Didn't Daniel Way say he was interested in reuniting those two at least for an issue? (Don't quote me. It may have been a rumor.)

That said, there's still some good stuff out there 8D;

There's some older (but still nice) fic here and the sequel here. There's also somewhat recent fic at twbasketcase's journal. Hostile Takeover doesn't focus on the relationship and it isn't quite a happy ending, but it is a realistic view of their relationship. Her WIP Enemy of the State is more Siryn/Deadpool centered. It's an AU, but what an AU it is.

Past that..... well, I don't have anything at the moment. There's some other fic floating around on my journal but, uh, reccing it doesn't feel right >>;

If you want some really cool action, though, this RP threadis brilliant.
