That was an interesting take on Jetfire and Starscream's past together. I like the idea that Jetfire was shipped off instead of simply lost in a exploration gone wrong; it's a nice way to get Starscream's loss of his partner into the movieverse without making it so that there's two Transformers caught in the ice on Earth.

I'm interested in seeing the sequel, should you get around to it. :D

I'm glad you liked! This idea was originally supposed to become an epic sort of thing, but then it evolved and, well, Jetfire (and Skyfire) didn't want to wait until I'd gotten the nerve up to write 3 volumes worth of fic... so instead, I wrote a one-shot that'll hopefully evolve a sequel and maybe work its way up. =3

I've got a whole long plot in mind, so the chances of a sequel are high. I just need to figure out how exactly I want the plot to work... So we'll see =3

I'm really happy that you enjoyed this so much, though! I was worried a little about the delivery (I have a tendency to write in present tense that is both useful and... not so good) so it gives me happy feelings to know it worked!

Eheh. Yeeeah, things for Starscream get a lot worse before they get better. Let us just say that there's a reason why I'm picky with names and leave it at that. No point in spoiling the sequel if I ever write it.

P-possibly. The plot's up in the air right now. Starscream'll at least get up to the end of the first movie. Past that is... uh... anyone's guess.

Buuuut... There was one tiny thing that bothered me a bit: "kitchen table". I dunno... Somehow it's hard to imagine giant alien robots and a kitchen table together, that is so - human.
