Wheeljack in any incarnation is cute. It's just that, in this one, he has the benefit of cowlicks to enhance the wonder that is smudges of ash across the cheek.

Wheeljack's head + armpit = that is so fucking cute I can't even wrap my head around it.

It's totally disgustingly cute. Wheeljack's head is just totally attracted to heat source. If they were positioned differently, Ratchet'd probably wake up with 'Jack's head stuck in his crotch.

Of course, 'jack's also a drooler if he's not lying evenly, so Ratchet would end up with saliva whuffled up all over his pants. And that'd be some kind of awkward. Or sexy. It depends.

Can you imagine waking up to Jack's head in your crotch, with drool everywhere and a probably, like, sleep and maybe even snot, because he seems like the type to have a comstant cold, because that would piss Ratchet off even more.

Wheeljack is actually disgustingly healthy, even though he is so bad about taking care of himself. It boggles Ratchet's mind and quite probably pisses him off even more because he can't figure out how Wheeljack does it

In my head Ratchet is in a long distance relationship with his bed/recharge chamber. He loves it dearly, but he doesn’t get to be with it anywhere near enough as he’s want to. He has been known to compose it sonnets. This fic only reinforces that opinion.

Plus Wheeljack’s head + Ratchet’s armpit = OTP forever.

Wheeljack and Ratchet are the greatest pair ever. I've got pages and pages of canon notes f-locked at the top of my journal if you're interested =3 They're basically... how do I put it... Ratchet's this really cranky guy with a heart of gold, and Wheeljacks' just totally excited about blowing stuff up. I guess I'd compare them to Tim and Bart, if Tim were a little more jaded and snarky and Bart a little more into tinkering with mechanics.
