Mum and I finally got Naga out of her tank today, but it was hard. She didn't want to come out. She's about 46 inches now- almost four feet long. We got a few pictures.
Oh, dear. I'm so glad I just have the snake and the cat, now. At one point, we (my ex-roommates and I) had between four and seven lizards at any given time, two snakes, a rat, mice, hamsters... Then we got the cat, and a bird. We had a zoo, not an apartment.
Then again, I'd love to have a ferret now, but I think Sebastian- the cat- might take issue with that.
Also, I'm actually dreading Naga getting bigger... She's four feet long now and eating baby rats. Full grown, she'll be between six and ten feet- and if she gets up to ten feet, she'll have to be eating bunnies. ._.
Oh, we definitely have a small zoo at my house. There's my gerbils and sugar glider (and I'm hoping to get two more suggies to keep my guy company since his mate died), two parakeets, three betta fish, and a tank of assorted other fish. We love animals. ^^;
Ten feet? Wow, that's impressive... what type of snake is she? She's gorgeous.
Ah. I forgot the three fishtanks. Also, two crabs.
She's a red-tail boa. At the worst, she could actually get up to twelve or thirteen feet, but that's pretty rare in captivity. Also, the females tend to be bigger, and she's already a little ahead of the curve for her age, so her odds of being on the huge end of the scale are pretty good.
