"I can sleep through bad singing." He'd learn to do it enough times. Glass? Yes, Maes knew about the broken glass and how it took a chunk out of his arm. It wasn't bad, though, just stingy. Once they were out, he could get someone to look at it. "It's just a flesh wound, I won't die from it." Since it's a flesh wound caused by you. Maes didn't add the last part, though. There really was no point to it.

He was half contemplating this situation. When was the last time he was stuck in a closet with someone? He was almost embarrassed to admit that it was a long time ago, not for the fact that it was a long time ago, but that it had happened at all. "Sometimes, I wish I'd take up smoking again." There went one of those random thoughts that managed to escape his brain and filter out through his mouth. Not many people knew he once smoked, mainly because he quit a long time ago.

"You're a moocher." Maes declared plainly enough, dealing the the discomfort of glass being pulled out of his arm and pondering why Sands was still touching him. Not that he minded, but it was.. odd. And a bit comforting. Not once did he move or make any sound, per se, but he did tense a couple times. He was a good soldier, after all. And He would let Sheldon be. He figured the man was still trying to gather his bearings since he was new to the whole blind thing.

"So how you planning to pay me back? I get you beer, I get you cigs, and not even a goodnight kiss? Pretty lame, if you ask me. Just a tease, Sands, and I'll make certain it's on the bathroom stall that you don't put out."
