[As Rin enters, Nikolai steps out of his bedroom, looking around]

Hello?

[Rin may notice that he has a thick Russian accent]

Hey uh, d'you live here? My name's Rin Okumura, nice to meet you.

[He repeats his introduction, which was fairly polite for someone not known for having the best manners. The bow he adds is barely noticeable, but it's something.]

Yes, I am living here. I am Nikolai.

[He ventures further into the living room, looking for Rin]

[Slinging the strap of his sword-carrying case over his head, he ventures into the living room as well, giving a brief wave to the man who must be Nikolai.]

[Trance was just getting back in time to hear that last sentence. So it'll be a few seconds before Trance goes to the source.]

[He turns and perks up at the news.]

Really? Oh man, that's a relief.

[Rin gives her the slightest of bows, seeing his dad around again had improved his manners for the time being.]

Yeah, just got here. I'm Rin Okumura, nice to meet you. I guess this is where I'm living.

[His curiousity is piqued when he notices her ears are pointed like his own, but holds back his questions for now.]

[Raises an eyebrow at the bow, but doesn't say anything. Rin might think it's the lighting or something, too, but she doesn't have a human skin tone, either. Man, imagine if she still had a tail...]

I'm Trance Gemini. What made you think you were dead?

[Rin half-shrugs as he explains.]

My dad's here, and he... definitely died.

[Not wanting to go into further detail on that subject, he gives in to his curiosity.]

Are you, human?

[So much for his manners.]
