*a truck is idling in an alley near the apartments.  It's a large, modern truck, with an odd insignia on the back tailgate.  Even stranger, this truck has what appears to be an ID tag like those that everyone wears dangling off its side mirror*

No. I've been here for eight months, and I still don't know anything more about the Gate than I do now.

You still need a place to stay, though. The night shift isn't forgiving.
