This is so sad and believable in the wake of the war, and Astoria's realisation that she has to go rings very true. Wonderfully done.

I love your descriptions: 'stony face' and 'luxurious gardens.' I can picture it happening - and can understand why Draco would be annoyed by a constantly tapping foot.

Definitely believable, and most heartbreaking for that. Certainly dysfunctional. I feel terrible for Astoria! What a horrible situation they've both found themselves in.
