OMG, Neville/Hannah fic! I love how you've portrayed Neville post-Hogwarts. It makes complete sense that someone who went from "shy and clumsy" directly to "fierce battle-hardened warrior" might mistake self-absorption for confidence, and have that bleed into his personal relationships.

Now this is indeed as dysfunctional as a relationship can get. And all the more chilling because neither of them realises it - although your Neville clearly is the creepier of the two. He does realise how very good he is in not leaving Hannah because she's barren.

And, in a way, it could be an extension of canon-Neville. He has certainly gone through enough to make him twisted.

A very intriguing story, that will remain with me.
