I'll admit that I was a little wary of reading considering poetry (and haikus) but this was really lovely writing. Just a hint of the full story and that's such a great way to end it. Great work.

Quite a unique and complex piece that really captures the disillusionment of two people who have grown dissatisfied with their lives and their love. The structure is wonderful too--such a lovely use of parallel structure between the first two sections and then again in the last two stanzas.
