Aw, I could see Minerva being the type to have that no dating colleague rule. I like how swept up she was and I think you wrote her emotions really well.

Very intriguing portrait of Minerva--I think you kept her very in character even as you made me see a side of her I hadn't really thought much about. I love how the title refers not to sexual thoughts, as I expected, but her desire to see Septima hurt.

This prompt was mine, and I'm really pleased to see it written! This level of intensity rings true for Minerva -- how she'd have such strong thoughts, would remember the dates with such precision, and yet you know that to anyone watching her, she probably seems calm and unaffected.

Elsewhere, I like the ice/iceberg imagery; they really fit the picture of Septima that you create.

I love the way the one inappropriate relationship has released this flood of other inappropriate couplings and responses. This fic reminds me of the saying "bad behavior makes for good stories." I can see a dozen fics coming out of this one! M.
