This is great and exactly what i hoped for when I left the prompt! Love how the themes of alcohol and verbal abuse runs through the story, and knowing how the relationship ends puts a completely different - and much darker - spin on the beginning of their relationship. The sense of doomed inevitability here is perfect, especially with that powerful final line. Great title too. I'll definitely be re-reading this :-)

This was amazing, and you handle the backwards storytelling so well. I love how the honest remorse of Pansy's letter and the whispered three words contrast with the cruelty and self-centeredness of her in the rest of the piece. And the ending is just perfect. Makes me sad they couldn't find a way to work things out, despite the dysfunctional nature of their relationship.

Oh. Oh, Hermione. Oh, Pansy. So obviously wrong and yet irresistible. Wonderful.

I loved the way you told the story - the backwards storytelling was very interesting, but not at all hard to follow :D

I could've sworn that I had reviewed this already. I truly love the way you told the story. Such great emotions and relationships. I loved it just as much on the reread.

I love this fic, i think this is incredible and the way you describe the relationship, the abuse and the remorse is amazing! I want read more about them and i'm really sad because the girls couldn't find a way to make this work! The contrast between the different parts the story is awesome! I'll be definitely re-read the fic! Congratulations!
