Poor Neville. Harry really was a jerk, but I think it worked well with the nature of the fest. Besides, I think cannon Harry is too nice. Deep down, I bet he is resentful of Neville because it could have been him and even if Neville's parents are impossibly damaged, they are alive. Both boys probably think the other has it better and you illustrated that well. I kind of wish Ginny had been around when Harry made the comment about trading her for his parents. Great job with this. I liked seeing the darker side of Harry.

Wow, Harry was terrible to Neville in this. It seems so unlike him, but then a bottle of Firewhiskey can probably do bad things to someone already in a nasty mood.

I loved this a lot - jealous!Harry was perfectly described, as well as Neville's reaction. I could feel indeed the fire burning inside Harry and making him so vicious. The bit of conversation about the destiny of Lily and James compared to Alice and Frank's war really hurting. Great work.
