Totally believable that she'd like flowers, grew to like them after her Animagus-form. And totally believable that no-one sends them. Poor Rita - even though she has created herself.

A fine character study, and the flowers/beetles connection makes a lot of sense. No wonder she won't let owls in!

Interesting account of Rita! I must admit I rather like - or at least respect and savour - her the way she is, so I'd send her some flowers every now and then :-)
