Oh, that was so sad but beautifully written. I love Draco's voice through it all, just wanting to help Astoria get over Pansy. Aw, bb! And I especially love that he didn't get all cliche-misogynist-ranty about his wife being in love with another woman. :) All the feelings here seem so real, even Pansy's manipulation. ♥ !

Ah, what an intense - though short - reading it was! While reading, it came to my mind the possibility that Pansy is doing all of this just to get Draco's attention, in fact - she's courting the women in his life to target him in the end. How good that Draco sticks with Astoria, and that he never blames her. He's in love with someone who doesn't reciprocate him enough as well.

Draco's feelings for Astoria seem so deeply-felt, and the difficult position he's in of wishing the woman responsible for their rift might actually make her happy instead of hurt her resonates well here. At the same time, he's very calculating himself (despite criticizing Pansy as the manipulative one) -- just let Astoria get her heart stomped on a little more, then it'll all work out. He's biding his time, certainly, even as he's playing the hero and swooping in when Astoria's feelings are trampled. Very neat and complicated situation you've drawn here!

Gah, those final lines! Pansy really is a manipulative bitch here, having Astoria and her sister, but I'm not sure how much better Draco's controlling attitude is. My fingers are crossed that Astoria dumps them both!

Draco's love for Astoria was so beautiful and painful for him. I really felt for him, and for Astoria as well. Great job with this love triangle. You also did a great job of portraying Pansy's controlling character her. I really enjoyed this.
