I can see this scene happening - Narcissa wanting someone stronger than her, so that she may rest a bit, and Severus wary about revealing something she shouldn't know. The awareness that winning the war (in case) cannot change everything, that Lucius will remain broken somehow. Insightful.

Too bad Lucius didn't get eliminated in canon, I think they would have made a good pair. A match made perhaps somewhere other than heaven, but a match nonetheless.

Well told, both of them beautifully in character and yet sharing a very human moment. I find myself hoping that happened.
