Oh, poor Ginny: She’s much too tired to tell him why. Most mothers of three young children can relate to that state of self. And this leads to all the rest.... If asked for advise I suggest to get part-time help of another adult woman or older teenager to have company besides the one of the children and time for oneself...

"you can’t uproot their lives just because you’re unhappy" one of the things that is set in stone in ones conscious, isn't it?

Yes Harry’s good to her-doesn’t mean he’s good for her. And yes. He’s a wonderful father, but she’s not a child and she doesn’t need a father. Beautiful way of putting the problem. And poor Ginny, who'll stay on and on in order to not disrupt the children's life. Only, in the end, how happy will Harry and the children be with a mother who locks herself up in the bathroom so as to find oblivion for a moment?

The use of present tense is so well-chosen for this bleak tale.

Just damn...

Brilliantly descriptive and actively depressing. Well done indeed.

Wow, this was so powerful and bleak. Poor Ginny, and poor all of them with this weight of sadness infusing their lives.

The conversation with Molly was most interesting - will she do as her mother? Or will she take another path? In fact, this fic is as one of her baths - an oasis of calm, while the disruptive stays at the border of the bath tube - her children, her husband, her 'friends' Hermione. The problem , the emotional break up from Harry, has already happened, and the consequences lie in the future, in the resolution she will, sooner or later, take.
