Sometimes all you need is a good cry

I like to torture myself sometimes and watch tragic love stories and then cry my eyes out.

That's normal, right? )

I like watching movies that can make me cry too, but I don't watch many tragic love stories. My hubby doesn't like them.

I've seen parts of Becoming Jane on youtube. I thought James McAvoy did a good job in the X-Men: First Class movie, so I investigated his other stuff. Becoming Jane didn't get a great score on rottentomatoes.com, so I didn't bother watching the whole thing. ...Of course I haven't seen Atonement either, but that's because I already heard the plot of the movie, and the ending makes me not want to watch it...Yeah that's a tragic love story that will take so time for me to finally watch.

My husband just leaves the room when I put on a tragic love story. He wants happy happy smile smile all the time. Which explains why he still watches Tom and Jerry cartoons!

Atonement is the one with what's-her-pout right? I saw the first ten minutes of it I think but the family wanted something with guns and car chases so I had to give in.

I don't understand why Becoming Jane would get awful scores. It is actually quite good. I hope you've seen McAvoy in Wanted and Starter for Ten?

I haven't seen Starter of Ten (doesn't it take place in the 80's?), but I've seen Wanted. In fact, I own that movie. :)
