1. I admit it was initially about all the Stargate stuff but after reading your journal I found that you are more than just a fangirl. You're a caring friend and a loving mom and it shows when you talk about your family. 2. Dr. Daniel Jackson - you're a true blue boonie babe. 3. The fact that you can rant about work stuff one moment and then be fangirly the next. In short, you're a real person, not someone who blogs for the attention. 4. When you sent me a handcrafted Stargate necklace. So sweet. 5. How'd you end up working where you are now? 6. 'Yeahsureyoubetcha' is a fave and also that Daniel-mooning icon is hilarious. 7. Done!
Heee, thanks hon! I have really enjoyed getting to know you as well. You are a true blue fan and awesome chicka in your own right!
It's all about da Boonie!
I tend to ramble, both online and in real life. I guess it shows ;)
The necklaces were so fun to make, glad you liked it!
I worked on the initial deployment of the computer system that is in place on the base now. One of the people I was installing their computer for asked me if I was interested in a job. I was only working part time, on-call jobs as I could get them. So steady work, hell yeah! It wasn't computer work, but an Admin job.
At that point, I was ready to take what I could get. Eventually, an IT position opened up on base and I was able to transfer over. And am thrilled about it!
