first up, thank you all for the kind words and best wishes for viel's recovery. she came home from the hospital last wednesday and the doctor ordered rest for a further week. she is on meds for 2 weeks with a follow-up on thursday. she is on the mend but needs to be closely monitored in case there is a relapse, which is bad. she will be

I've always wanted to learn to knit. Was it difficult when started?

Ditto. I've always wondered how the heck one could create something using two pointed sticks and some yarn.

It wasn't that hard. There are plenty of tips and videos for beginners so that was okay. It would have been better if there was an actual class I could attend, being a visual learner that I am.

Let me know if you want me to point you in the right direction.

When is your holiday? We're on vacation from about June 4-13th. I'm wondering if we could look after your guppies. IF our holidays don't overlap, and IF they aren't still in a bowl (we have three cats!) maybe we could arrange something. =)

Er, it would have been nice if you were logged on coz now I don't know who you are. :(

In any case, we are away from the 26th May until the 1st July so the guppies would need to be relocated when you go away. Thanks for the offer though and I will keep it in mind for the future. :)
