It looks to me like you got the complete Susan Cooper The Dark is Rising set:
1. Dark is Rising 2. Over Sea, Under Stone 3. Greenwitch 4. The Grey King 5. Silver on the Tree
Yup, all there. Congratulations, by the way (and I would've offered to send you my old copy since I know how frustrating it is not to be able to find that one storybook. It took me years to find a copy.)
Now, Dyokklako, when are you going to write the Filipino version of a The Dark is Rising chronicles? Or have they already been written? Because I've never heard of them, if they have. I'm sure there is enough history and magical belief where you are to put something really wondrous together.
I actually already have the series in different editions and sizes I got the last one at a 2nd-hand bookstore bought for me by a friend. I was thinking of replacing them with these edition when I saw them being sold at US$1.00 and below each. I was also thinking of lending this wonderful series to my friends who may also like it. I am very particular about how my books are handled which is why I rarely lend it out (most often they come back in not quite a good condition or are never returned). Others have remarked that my books looked brand new which makes most bookstores stocks look like they come from the 3rd-4th generation of readers and still being sold at their full price. ^^"
Thank you for the offer but it would be a hassle given how customs and the postal system works here. Seriously. (refer to my posts about the postal system here, here and hereThere are a lot of versions and variations to the myths and legends and even epics (yes, epics) that were written already by other authors.... I, uh, have yet to make a good serious
